Martina Centa, born in ’96, was born into a family of winegrowers in the Valdadige Terradeiforti, a narrow corridor between the mountains and crossed by the Adige River. Growing up within the family business, she immediately lived and breathed the wine world.
Cantina Roeno, founded by her maternal grandfather, is now managed by Roberta, Martina’s mother, along with her uncles, Cristina and Giuseppe. The winery concentrates on the production of traditional and native vines of Upper Verona and Lower Trentino. The two most representative varieties of Roeno are Enantio and Riesling. The first is an autochthonous, red berried vine of very ancient origins. The second is a real challenge for the company, which has been cultivating Riesling in the Monte Baldo area for ten years.
Martina joined the company as Head of Marketing and Communication, after graduating with honors in Foreign Trade and Food & Wine Marketing. Her passion for hospitality also led her to undertake various experiences outside the company as a wine hospitality specialist during her studies. Martina looks to the future bringing with her the history, values and teachings of a great family. Her motto: “renew oneself without losing the thread of memories, challenging the future through the search for new stimuli and new goals to reach”.
