Gaetano Mennonna is a Senior Export Manager for the USA, Asia, and Oceania at Empson & Co., a leading exporter of fine Italian wines, present in over 35 countries. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Università Degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. His passion for wine led him to pursue an MBA in wine marketing and management in Bordeaux, where he lived for three years, gaining further experience working for a wine négociant. He is fluent in three languages and has also studied or worked in Dublin, London, and Washington DC.

Seven years ago, his education and experience led him to Empson, where he contributes to the overall growth of the company by applying his critical thinking, planning, and communication skill to new market development strategies and global sales activities in line with the company’s mission and vision. He is also responsible for improving the company’s digital footprint, managing the overhaul of its website and social media presence, and creating new sales channels, such as Amazon. In 2021, he began lecturing about the American market for the Master Internazionale del Vino in Florence.
