Daniele Righi

Daniele Righi is an entrepreneur and innovation manager from Modena who has developed and innovated the Digital Channels of BPER Banca. Over his thirteen years of Strategic Marketing Management, among countless projects, he created the multi-channel (internet banking, mobile banking …) group of work of the Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano and the introduction of the Contactless system in Italy.

Creator of the “Team Events” project, in collaboration with MasterCard, he introduced the concept of Proximity Marketing in large events (> 40,000 people) through an experience linked to limited edition prepaid cards: a great success for those with fruit, scent, wine, and truffle.

During “Vasco Modena Park” (the concert with the highest number of paying spectators) he created, for the first time in the world, a system of live people analytics able to count the number of participants and track their behavior through the streets towns.

Thanks to the technology of Iottacle, the company of which he was founder and CEO, he become part of the Next14 Group and developed a new tool useful for GDO and Retail customers such as Coop, Carrefour, MD, Barilla and Luxottica.

Daniele Righi collaborated in the drafting of an in-depth study of the book “Fake people. Stories of social bots and digital liars,” by Maurizio Tesconi, head of the Cyber Intelligence Lab of the CNR Institute of Informatics and Telematics. He was a speaker for BTO 2021 and consultant for Rai, Panini / Marvel and the Italian National Singers.

At the end of 2020, together with Laura Francesca Bottazzi, he combined his passion for food and good drinking with technology, as co-founder of “Contatto Divino”, an innovative startup capable of “making the bottles talk,” to convey the characteristics of the wine and the history of the winery to customers.

Contact Divino is the first and only system in the world capable of automatically identifying the habits and contacts of the final consumer thanks to NFC technology: the most powerful online lead generation system ever implemented until now.

Contact Divino is the reference point for innovators of wine & spirits. In 2021 the company joined Champagne Experience, the Italian event with the largest assortment of Champagne, to coordinate organization for the digital and innovative aspects of the event.

The latest project is an important co-branding with Rastal, SmartGlass® by Contatto Divino, the only glass equipped with NFC (Near Field Communication) patented worldwide. This evolution further leads proximity marketing towards a better experience in beverage but also in Weddings, Corporate Gifts and institutional events.
