Arnauld Orsel

Raised in Lyons, Arnaud Orsel obtained a master’s degree in Wine Knowledge and Trade at the Agrosup Dijon. He then worked for 10 years on the development of the François Frères Cooperage, world leader in the barrel making. He thus acquired expertise in wine aging with more than 2,000 domains visited, including numerous italian wineries. In 2010, he joined the management team of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, which promotes Burgundy wines and has 12,000 members worldwide. Today, Arnaud is the director of this institution which organizes the famous Chapitres-dinners, the Saint-Vincent Tournante or the Tastevinage and which restores the Château du Clos de Vougeot, seats of the Climats de Bourgogne, world Heritage site. Arnaud has been giving MasterClasses on Burgundy wines for the past 3 years at Vinitaly.
